What this service is

The Bin Club is a free community tool that helps neighbours find each other to share garden waste bins. It is not a commercial service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the London Borough of Hackney or any council service.

What this service does

This service provides a simple directory where people can list their willingness to share a garden waste bin, and where others can search by postcode to find those listings. When someone expresses interest, the two parties are put in touch via email. That's it.

What this service does not do

• Handle payments or financial arrangements between users.
• Verify anyone's identity beyond email verification.
• Manage, collect, or dispose of garden waste.
• Guarantee the availability, reliability, or behaviour of any user.

Your responsibility

Any arrangement you make with another user is between you and them. You are responsible for agreeing on the terms of sharing (cost splitting, collection schedules, bin access, etc.) and for behaving reasonably and lawfully.

Limitation of liability

This service is provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to:

• Disputes between users
• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Any actions taken by other users of the service
• Any financial loss arising from sharing arrangements

Acceptable use

This service must not be used to spam, harass, or mislead others. False information must not be submitted. Any listing may be removed and any user may be blocked at the operator's discretion.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
