How it is used

Your information is used to:

• Display your first name (never your email) in postcode search results
• Send you a verification email when you express interest in a share
• Notify a bin share owner when someone verified is interested
• Respond to contact messages

Who sees your email

Your email address is never shown publicly on the site. If you express interest in a bin share and verify your email, your name and email are sent to the bin share owner so they can decide whether to get in touch. The bin share owner's email is not shared with you.

What this service does not do

• Sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.
• Use cookies for tracking or analytics.
• Build profiles or use your data for marketing.
• Use your data for any purpose beyond running this service and the anonymised research described below.

Web analytics

Anonymous page view counts are collected to understand which pages are useful. No cookies are used, no individuals are tracked, and no personal data is collected.

Research and analysis
